RULES FOR USING PARKING SPACE

General Rules for Using Parking Spaces and Garages at the Parking Lot Located at 23 Basztowa Street Next to Hotel Polonia in Krakow:

 

 

                                                                  GENERAL RULES

  1. This regulation governs the use of unguarded, paid parking spaces and garages, colled the “Parking,” located in the courtyard of the building at 23 Basztowa Street in Krakow.
  2. According to this regulation, a “Parking User” is a person who actually uses the Parking (either the driver of a vehicle upon entry or exit, or the vehicle owner) by driving onto the Parking premises and parking a motor vehicle there.
  3. A parking space is a designated area within the Parking premises intended for vehicle parking.
  4. By entering the parking area, every vehicle user agrees to comply with the terms of this Regulation and undertakes to obey it.

 

                                             GENERAL RULES FOR USING THE PARKING

  1. Entry to the parking area occurs after check-in and receiving the room key.
  2. Entry and exit from the parking area are only possible in the presence of hotel staff and require notification at the Hotel Polonia reception.
  3. Access to the courtyard with parking spaces and garages is through a gate with a width of 2.14 meters, secured by a barrier.
  4. The entrance gate to the parking area is closed between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM.
  5. The maximum speed limit within the parking area is 5 km/h.
  6. Traffic rules for vehicles and pedestrians specified in the Road Traffic Act of June 20, 1997 (Journal of Laws of 2005, No. 108, item 908, as amended) apply within the parking area.
  7. Parking outside designated parking spaces is prohibited.
  8. Absolute prohibition of entry for vehicles carrying flammable, corrosive, explosive, or similar materials and substances that could pose a risk to people and property.
  9. Users are responsible for securing their vehicles against theft.
  10. The parking area is monitored by video surveillance with image recording.
  11. The ownet of the property is not liable for missing or poor-quality recordings and determines their storage period.
  12. Archived surveillance recordings are provided exclusively upon request by the Police or other authorized state authorities.

 

                                          PARKING FEE REGULATIONS

  1. The parking lot is open 24/7, seven days a week.
  2. Users are required to pay the parking fee at the Hotel Polonia reception.
  3. The fee is calculated based on the hotel day, which runs from 3:00 PM to 12:00 PM.
  4. Extending the parking time is possible only after prior agreement with the Hotel Polonia reception staff and incurs an additional charge. For up to 5 hours of extended parking, the fee is 50% of the applicable rate in the Price List. Beyond 5 hours, the full fee applies.
  5. The parking service price list, available at the Hotel Polonia reception, is an integral part of the regulations.

 

                                                                   RESPONSIBILITY

  1. Hotel Polonia shall not be liable for any damages resulting from force majeure, natural disasters, theft (break-ins, robberies, etc.), robbery, destruction, or damage to vehicles located within the Parking area, as well as any items left in those vehicles or constituting their equipment.
  2. The Hotel disclaims responsibility for any traffic-related and parking damages concerning vehicles and individuals using the Parking.
  3. Users are responsible for any damages caused by their vehicles or arising from the use of parking spaces, as well as for any harm inflicted on third parties within the Parking area.
  4. Within the Parking area, the following actions are prohibited:
    • Consuming alcohol.
    • Littering or damaging equipment.
    • Washing or vacuuming vehicles.
    • Replacing or topping up fluids in vehicles (coolant, oil, etc.).
    • Engaging in activities contrary to occupational health and safety (BHP) and fire protection (PPOŻ) regulations.
    • Behaving in a manner inconsistent with social norms or disrupting the use of the Parking.
  5. Complaints and inquiries related to Parking usage should be reported through the Hotel Polonia reception.

Hotel Polonia greatly appreciates your cooperation in adhering to the provisions of this Regulation, which aims to ensure peaceful and safe use of the Parking area.
